Our Story
From Flipping to Building
My journey began in 2019 with a simple idea: giving new life to antique and vintage furniture. What started as a furniture flipping side hustle quickly evolved as I discovered my passion for bedroom furniture pieces - dressers, buffets, and nightstands proved to be not only economical to restore but also pieces that customers truly valued.
As I refined my skills working on these vintage treasures, I faced a consistent challenge: inventory was limited to what I could source locally on the secondary market. This constraint became the catalyst for evolution. Rather than being limited by what I could find, I began crafting my own furniture from scratch.

Authentic Vintage Character Through Experience
One of the things that sets my furniture apart is the authentic vintage character in each piece. This isn't by accident. By working extensively with genuine antique and vintage furniture, I've developed an intimate understanding of their construction, joinery, and design elements. I've studied how these pieces were built to last generations, what makes them special, and what gives them their unique character.
This hands-on experience with real vintage pieces has deeply influenced my craftsmanship. Today, I apply those traditional methods and design sensibilities while incorporating modern improvements. The result is furniture with the soul of a vintage piece but built for contemporary living.

Bridging Tradition and Modern Needs
Today, I create handcrafted pieces that honor traditional woodworking methods while incorporating modern features that today's homeowners demand. My furniture combines the character and durability of vintage pieces with practical upgrades like generous sizing, soft-close drawer slides, and contemporary hardware.
Each piece that leaves my workshop carries the mark of traditional craftsmanship with functionality built for modern living. Whether stained to showcase the natural beauty of the wood or painted in signature finishes, my furniture is designed to become the heirlooms of tomorrow.

My Workshop
I take pride in my dedicated commercial workshop, where every piece is built with attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Unlike mass-produced furniture, each piece is crafted by skilled hands that understand the nuances of woodworking and appreciate the importance of creating something that will last for generations.

About Bobby
Behind every piece of furniture is a craftsman with a story. I'm Bobby, and I've taken a winding road to furniture making. Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, I spent 14 years serving our country in the United States Marine Corps, including two combat tours. Those years taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the value of quality work that stands the test of time.
After my military service, I built a decade-long career as a software developer, bringing technical precision and problem-solving skills to a different kind of creation. But throughout these journeys, the Shenandoah Valley called me home. Despite traveling the world and country, I ultimately returned to my roots, establishing my workshop in the community where I grew up.
Today, my greatest joys are my family – my wife and our three children (two girls and one boy) – and creating furniture that brings beauty and function to other families' homes. There's something deeply satisfying about working with my hands to craft pieces that will be part of people's daily lives for generations.
My unique background blends military precision, technical knowledge, and a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. This combination shapes every piece that leaves my workshop – furniture built with intention, care, and a genuine connection to the past while embracing the present.
